Nov 12 TH Styled Tags-These are from his 2012 tag series. For this class, you can purchase a kit that will have everything mostly precut for you you will only need to purchase-the Tags, Metallic Letters, Ribbon, Inks and Adhesives. Or you can purchase all the items and have use of the dies and stamps he used for the project. All students will receive a listing of everything used in the creation of the tags. Because they don't tell the instructors what they are going to be bringing in for the holiday season, I don't know if they will be bringing the dies or not. But they were purchased at Michaels last year.

Dec 10  Style Gift Card Tags: Just in time for Secret Santa, where everyone seems to want a gift card over a real gift. Instead of putting the GC in an envelope we will jazz it up by creating TH style tags that are large enough to hold a seasonal greeting and the gift card.

Sneak Peek- New Jewelry Classes for Sept-Dec (no pics yet :( )

No Pictures yet mainly because I am still working on samples (had a slight ring issue with the chainmaille classes)

Sept 1- This will either be the Adv Wire Wrap class (the earrings) or Beg. Wire Wrap (the necklace) there was interest in the Necklace at my last class.

Sept 5 Wire Crochet- The only crochet I can do. Uses 24-26 Gauge wire and a bunch of beads you string on at random to create a three row bracelet (or wider if you desire). You don't have to know how to crochet for this class I will teach you the chain stitch and the single crochet. Wire is a lot more forgiving than yarn.

Paper Classes April-June

APRIL 2 6-8pm Monthly Mixed Media: Join Kim once a month for a new mixed media canvas, drawing skills are not required. Most Kim will provide the image to be colored or the image is a simple drawing. We will also be exploring different mixed media techniques. $25.00 plus materials

APRIL 9 -6-8pm Mini Album 2: Using Celebrate It Paper bags, a paper stack, ribbon and chipboard, we will create a hard cover mini album for photos, journaling and small souvenirs/memorabilia.  $25.00 plus materials

APRIL 23 -6:30-8:30 Make It With Michaels: Crayon Flower Pot Surprise a beloved teacher with this cute, colorful flower pot. $15 INCLUDES Materials for one flower pot.

 
















APRIL 30 -6-8pm Paper Crafting Beginner: A simple card making class that uses cardstock as a base and then takes one of Michaels Recollections 6x6 paper pad to create the face of the card. I have to say I am in love with this paper stack for $5.99 you get 180 pages, most stacks of the same size give you around 48 pages if that. The colors are bright and cheery, perfect for cards. $15.00 plus materials

MAY 3- 10:30-12 Cards 101: This class we start with the basics of card making, paper selection and tools needed. In the class, we will create bases for cards-standard card, gatefold, step and easel card. Time permitting we will start the decorations. $25.00 plus materials

MAY 7 -6-8pm Paper Crafting Advanced: In this class we will be taking 12x12 Cardstock Scrapbook Paper to create a mini album/card. When opened and viewed from above it looks like a star. While looking complex, it something even a beginner can handle. $25.00 plus materials

MAY 11 -6:30-8:30 pm Free Paper Craft Class-Rosettes Free with purchase of materials

MAY 14-6-7:30 pm Copic (Monthly): Many of have us have seen Copic Markers and have wondered if they were worth the cost (They are) but also how to use them. In the Copic Class, we will be learning about the Copic system and working on our coloring skills every month. This is not limited to COPIC but any ALCOHOL BASED Marker. So if you have Primsacolor or Spectrum Noir markers you can use them because they all work the same. $15.00 plus materials

MAY 29 -6-8pm Tags (Monthly): Tim Holtz is a major player in the scrapbooking industry working primarily for Ranger but also has partnerships with other companies creating products for them. They all tie into his Distressed line with Ranger. Tim every month puts out a tag using different techniques to create them. These techniques can be carried over into all paper crafting and mixed media. But since Tim creates/works for all these companies, he can put everything on his tag. For most of us this is not possible, so in the class we will have a mix of using products to create the same effects but with either items we already own or lower cost alternatives. The man is a creative genius-just hard on our pocket books. $25.00 plus materials classes after this one will be $15.00. We will be creating more than one tag.

JUNE 11-6-8pm Cards 103: Class three in our card making series. The first two classes looked at creating bases for different style cards. Now we will be working on the fronts of the cards using stamps and wet embossing. In this class, you will learn how about stamping, stamping inks, tools needed, how to emboss on paper and vellum, coloring images, and how to put it all together to create an appealing card. $25.00 plus materials
